In breve: Se non fosse perché oramai sorpassata da pubblicazioni di vari autori, questa è la madre di tutte le guide sull'arco Himalayano con indicazioni anche di percorsi non sempre allora autorizzati. Un libro che è stato di ispirazione (a me e sicuramente a tanti altri) anche se i principali trekking li avevo già affrontati ed avevo ormai materiale per una pubblicazione simile in lingua italiana (che tengo tutt'ora sul mio disco fisso).
